TAM 1/35 T-34/85 By Jian Wei....WIP

Jian Wei has constructed a Tamiya 1/35 T-34/85 and painted the tank with gunze Russian Green. Highlight was applied. Decals were applied on glossed surface. When dried, anther coat of gloss was sprayed on to seal the decals and prevent silvering.

The next stage will be to give it a general oil wash or raw umber followed by dry brushing. More to come.

How to make an interesting PAPER WEIGHT

Thinking of a new way to display that old model kit....build it and give it a nice coat of SILVER, BRONZE er even GOLD. Add weights if you need to. The result above is a nice 1/700 old Tamiya Japanese destroyer paper weight that is fit enough to adorn the top on your desk or shelf.

Tamiya 1/35 M3 GRANT Canal Defence Light Tank by NORMAN

Look at this fantastic conversion by Norman. Check out the winter camo. The base kit is a Tamiya 1/35 M3 GRANT battle tank. I was told the resin conversion is from BLAST. Norman uses Vallejo Acrylic colors and good old fashion brushes .....YUP NO AIR BRUSH!.

SAM's Trumpeter 1/350 USS Nimitz

SAM, our latest member built a Trumpeter 1/350 scale USS Nimitz on his third attempt on ship models (that is Brave!!). What is even more amazing, Sam added PE to the Nimitz and even scratch built details to one of its exposed hanger deck!. All this for a beginner.....
